Field Book
Field Book is a simple app to record trait data in the field.
Field Book version 5.4.11.16 and later can connect to GGCE. Download the updated Field Book through their Releases page.
Connect to GGCE
Configure the connection to GGCE under Settings > BrAPI:

After entering the Base URL value, hit the Authorize button. This will bring you to the login page of your GGCE. After the successful login, Field Book is ready to import data from GGCE using BrAPI.
Download traits
Try it by navigating to the list of Traits, and select Import > BrAPI from the menu.
Download experiments
You can download the inventories (observation units) associated with a specific experiment (Study/Trial) to organize your data collection in Field Book.
Make observations
Once the traits and experiments are downloaded, you can record observations directly in Field Book.
Upload data
Since Field Book connects to GGCE via BrAPI, observations recorded in the app can be synchronized back to GGCE, allowing you to write observation data directly to the server.
